Love this mouse!
Perfect mouse. Super ergonomic. Very comfortable. It definitely reduces symptoms of overuse. I like the feel of it as well. It feels sturdy. I think it will last quite a while. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Not for me
I thought this mouse would be great for me due to issues with my wrist but I just could not get used to it. I tried it with and without the magnetic base. It has a lot of great features and I like how versatile it it but ultimately I did not like it. I would still recommend if you can get used to the odd hand positioning.

I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. What I received was an Ergonomic Vertical Mouse by HP. Included in this box was the mouse, a USB-C charging cable, USB dongle, detachable wrist rest and instruction/info booklet.
First let me address the appearance of this mouse. It is very high tech looking. Sleek and modern in dark black. The usb dongle attaches in its own little concealed area on the mouse. Very clever indeed! You can take this with you everywhere you go and not worry about losing it.
I was somewhat hesitant about this mouse but it took me about 5 seconds to get used to this design and decided yes I love it! Very easy to use. This mouse just glides in your hand! The vertical design keeps your hand and wrist in a natural position to reduce strain. Perfect for those who use computers all day. Easy on/off switch on the side. You plug in the charger on the side as well.
The wrist support provides a more natural grip for all day comfort.
And I must address the fact that the packaging it comes in is plastic free and so easy to recycle.
This really is a fantastic mouse. And it also makes a very thoughtful gift as well.

Very nice
So I was a little hesitant getting this mouse since it's different then what I am used to. I heard it could help with wrist pain so I went ahead and grabbed it. The mouse did take some time getting used to but I am so glad I got it. Very comfortable to hold on to and it glides smoothly.

Fast connection/great wrist support
I’ve really been enjoying this mouse. First time ever using an ergonomic one, so it has taken some getting used to.
You can connect up to 3 devices. One by dongle and two by Bluetooth. I have yet to use the dongle, but the Bluetooth connected ridiculously fast and stayed connected with no issues. I’ve used this with regular internet browsing, and general computer use. I also tried with a Steam video game and there was no lag or anything.
I really like the fact that this keeps your hand/wrist in a neutral position. Very happy to have this added to my laptop accessories and recommend to anyone.

Great mouse for your wrist!
I work from home and use my computer throughout the day. I am right-handed but usually have to awkwardly use my left hand to give my wrist a break from using the mouse too much. However, with this HP mouse design, I don't have to do that. Its design gives my wrist a more natural feel and it doesn't bother me throughout the day. It took about a day to get used to using the mouse, but now I find it very simple to use. The setup was very easy. It is wireless, and it comes with a rechargeable battery, but the battery life is very good.

I didn’t expect to like this mouse as much as I do. I’ve used other ergonomic mice before that have a ball on them and that always felt awkward to me. I love how this one has the proper rest wrist position. But still glides across the table Like a traditional mouse. The other nice features are that it charges with USB-C and the battery last a long time. There are a few extra Short Cut buttons that I program as copy paste and enter, which takes me a lot of time when working with forms. Overall, this is the best I have ever had, and will never go back to a traditional one.

THIS ERGONOMIC VERTICAL MOUSE HAS TURNED OUT TO BE VERY HELPFUL AND USEFUL AT MY COMPUTER. ITS UNUSUAL DESIGN HAS BEEN SO GOOD FOR MY WRIST. MY WRIST WOULD GET SORE AS THE DAY PROGRESSES - BUT AFTER USING THIS UNUSUAL DESIGN - IT REALLY DOES HELP WITH THE STRAIN ON YOUR WRIST AS YOU WORK. IT ALLOWS YOUR HAND TO WORK IN A NATURAL POSITION WHILE USING THE MOUSE. IT MAKES WORKING BETTER AS WELL. IT WORKS GREAT WITH ITS FEATURES AND MAKES WORKING AT MY COMPUTER SO MUCH BETTER!!! IT IS ALSO VERY AFFORDABLE MOUSE.

THE Ergonomic Mouse
Form/Function: The mouse is definitely a departure from my Magic Mouse, and I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first. That said, after about five minutes with it, I already started to prefer it to my old mouse. I am still getting the hang of using the scroll wheel in combination with a mouse click (for highlighting several pages of rows in Excel, for example). I'm sure this is just a muscle memory thing that has to be trained. I'm excited to see how the improvements in ergonomics may help my neck and shoulder long term.
Setup: Setup was easy, I just plugged the USB into my Mac and the mouse worked right away. I was presented with a "Keyboard Setup" window when plugging in the mouse but I just ignored it and the mouse worked fine.
Button options: Forward, Back, Switch App, Scroll Wheel - I wasn't able to test customizing these buttons. The buttons as configured work great and the extra thumb app-switch button is handy.

Is this a left handed mouse? Does HP make a left handed ergonomic vertical mouse?
The left click and the right click on the mouse can be reversed in the settings, but this HP 925 Ergonomic Vertical Mouse for business is not designed for left-handed customers.

Please patch software:Assigned volume up/down to side buttons with HP Software, when pressing them quickly repeatedly the default browser back/forward sometimes still execute. While holding down button 4 the cursor only moves horizontally. Latest firmware
