Three times I was asked to check the box, instead of being helpful. Once I finished the request, I was told it would be sent out right away with 2-day shipping. It has been two months since that request and just recently got a message that they were sending it. I of course had already bought a cord and spent more money in HP’s failure to have good customer service. Never again!

The scanner function digitizes images on paper to create document files in your computer whose image on your monitor looks just like the piece of paper in your hand.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by Dovehaven from Terrible customer service and defective product I bought a reconditioned color, laser printer in order to avoid the continued dance of ink jet printer cartridges. The printer did not work from the get-go. Many hours on the phone with HP reps trying to fix the problem, until they concluded that they had to send a technician out and replace the paper feeder. Three tries and finally, they found a technician, who came on the day of my move. I did not have a chance to try the printer until I moved and had internet connected ( as of today). Unsurprisingly, I am unable to hook the printer up to my Wi-Fi. Again the misery of a call to HP, 25 minute wait, a rude and unintelligible agent who hung up on me after about a minute. Call back wait for one hour on the phone, only to hear a message that they were unavailable and to call back. These issues have had a detrimental effect on my life and are not merely numerous and very meaningless apologies for “inconveniences”. Losing many hours of my time Is a harm to me—not an inconvenience. Further, I still don’t have a printer I can use, right at the time in my life when I have most needed it. HP used to be a great company with excellent customer service. Now it is among the worst.

I CALLED AND THE PEOPLE WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND INEPT. I RETURNED THE ITEM THE NEXT DAY, AFTER HAVING THEM ORDER A "NEW" PRINTER REPLACEMENT. THEY INDICATED THEY WOULD EXPEDITE THE NEW ONE. THEN A FEW DAYS LATER WHEN I HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM, I FOUND OUT THEY WOULD ONLY SHIP THE NEW ONE WHEN THE OLD ONE WAS RECIEVED AND INSPECTED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WAS SO UPSET, I CANCELED THE REPLACEMENT AND ASKED FOR A FULL REFUND, WHICH WOULD ONLY OCCUR AFTER 2 WEEKS. I SIMPLY CALLED MY CC COMPANY AND DISPUTED THE CHARGE. HP USED TO BE A GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAVE JOINED THE RANKS OF POORLY RUN AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

    No, only the HP Enterprise LaserJet MFP, PageWide MFP, and Network Scanner devices using FutureSmart 4 release 4.9 or later have the HP Workpath platform, which gives access to Workpath apps. This platform includes software development kits (SDKs) in industry-standard development technologies that can be used by HP and independent software vendors to develop apps that extend device capabilities.     I need a 3rd paper tray for my new HP MFP 4301 printer. How do i find this? I have one i used on my previous HP Color Laserjet CP2025 printer but not sure if it will fit. This paper tray addition says this on the sticker CB500A

    The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdn uses the HP 28N93A paper tray. This is a new paper tray designed for this printer. Your older paper tray will not be compatible.     Wireless printer setup

    Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP Laserjet Pro 4301fdn printer does not have wireless capabilities. You can connect the printer to your router with the Ethernet cable.

    Hello. Thanks for your question. The ADF (Auto Document Feeder) on top of this HP Laserjet Pro 4301fdw printer allows you to scan up to 50 pages. That is where you would put the legal size documents that you want to scan.
