Rated 4 out of 5 by kerib31 from Very Large colorful poster printer. This is a good large poster printer to be used in a school or office or business. I would not recommend for personal use as the size of this printer is very large and take up space and the cost of the ink cartridges if used constantly could be not cost effective if wast used on investment return. But if you are using for purposes you need for I recommend. I personally at home print on demand for my small business and this is being used in the school. It works great prints quickly and quietly color is great full coverage no missing spots great printer.

How many printhead cartridges are needed?

        Asked by: printhead cartridges
I thank you for your question about the HP DesignJet Z9+dr Large Format Dual-Roll PostScript® Photo Printer. It requires a printhead for all of the ink cartridges and this printer model uses 9 thermal inkjet cartridges. The user guide https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06035577.pdf covers how to replace them on page 129 and explains in detail how they work.

What is the printing capacity until the cartridges are empty?

        Asked by: Tecnorizando
As there is no standard size or type print for the HP DesignJet prints, there are no estimates on how many prints can be obtained with a single cartridge. Page sizes and print designs greatly impact the amount of ink used per print.

Why is it that the printer takes 9 different colors and yet when you click on the link on the product page for ink you only show 6 for purchase?

        Asked by: Carl DODEA
When checking the recommended supplies and support section on this product page, ten different ink cartridges are shown(including the Gloss Enhancer P2V87A) and the printhead is shown. Please scroll down to this section and click the right arrow twice to view the full selection of ink cartridges.
