HP Rules
When I bought this printer I replaced the OfficeJet Pro 8020. I am a loyal Hewlett Packard owner PC, laptop and printer. The best decision I ever made was buying the OfficeJet Pro 8034e. Better quality printing and copying. The fax machine set was very simple compared to my past printer/fax machines. The ink usage and the HP+ program is exceptional.

Value for the Money
I’ve had my previous Hp printer for several years and decided to upgrade to the hp Office Jet Pro 8034e. So far it’s been ok for my printing needs. Setting up the printer using the HP Smart App was simple and easy. It just seemed to take forever during the printer alignment process. I wanted to test the printer and I had some “warehouse club”brand printer paper laying around(because my kids love to print and do artwork) and loaded it in the printer. During the first print page, I printed out an one page word document. When I went to get it from the printer, several blank pages and the printed document were laying on the tray. I thought that it was weird so I tried it again. Yet again, there were several blank pages along with the printed document on the tray. I was about to get a little upset and thought that I got a bad printer. Then I remembered that the “club warehouse” paper was a little thin. So I ordered a pack of HP MultiPurpose20TM, 20 lb, 8.5 x 11 in. 500 sheets, (HPM1120R) paper. I printed the one page document again and success. The problem was resolved by using the Hp brand paper. So just make sure that your printer paper isn’t thin and well, cheap. Another thing is that after I returned from vacation, I needed to print a document in a hurry. However since the printer was sitting unused for several days it took a long time for it to print. During that time it was. Making loud clanking noises for a few minutes. No big deal, I guess that I have to get used to the fact that it needs to “warm up and align”. Basically it’s a different type of printer that I’ve previously used. Honestly this printer is great and the colors are amazing especially when printing photos. Also to note, this printer is definitely faster that my previous Hp printer and I would recommend this printer to anyone who is in the market for one. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Incredibly easy to set up
I am beyond impressed at how easy this all-in-one printer was to set up. One power cable from the printer to the wall outlet and voilà!! No network cables, no telephone wire cables, no Ethernet cables, NONE of that! Everything that followed after I powered it on was a few taps on the screen of the printer and a free download from the App Store on my mobile phone- and I was ready to print. Now for the printing quality - it is SUPER FAST and really great quality prints. Overall I am extremely pleased.

Little Power House
I have had my printer for a number of years, but recently decided it was long overdue for an upgrade. After reading many reviews I settled on this model.
The product was well packaged and arrived secure and undamaged. The setup was similar to other wifi models and I was able to connect and get to testing with ease. I walkway find myself running out of ink and scrambling to reorder last minute so I love the 1 year supply of ink that came along with purchase and the fact that after that point it’s auto supplied so I don’t have to deal with those last minute hassles of being out. I didn’t realized how slow my past printer was until I hit print on this powerhouse. My 50 page double sided document shot out in no time crisp and clean. I love that in addition to seamless printing I can also fax and scan with just as much ease.
It is a tad larger than I expected, but totally worth the extra space. I received a discount in exchange for my experience with the product.

Great printer!!!
I've never owned an HP printer. But I've owned about every other brand. While there used to be decent ones out there, recently they all have seemed to be "disposable" after a year of use or so. Not to mention ink cartridge expenses! Well, it was time to own HP. I own an HP laptop so why not. Here it is...
Installing was fairly easy. Anyone with SOME knowledge of these things can do it with little need for a walk through. The most amazing part...? The mobile print!!! I rely on my phone for a lot of things and don't have my laptop always booted up and waiting on me. The app is a great tool for numerous things!
The print quality is just fine as well. Having s subscription for ink is a great concept, I don't print a lot of things but it you do this is a great benefit also.
Print speed is typical for a non business type printer. Not slow by any means.
Overall a great utility to have at home for the kids and any business needs I have when working from home! Glad to have this in my repertoire!!

I use this as my personal and office printer at home. It is a fantastic printer with good quality and fast speeds. I love the Wi-Fi printing from my phone too. The ink delivery service is a great add too. I don’t use this a ton so it’s nice they base it on pages printed not just reoccurring by time. I received a special deal on this product

My husband purchased this printer at a special price for his and mine honest opinions, I have been sharing the usage of this printer and I must say I am quite impressed with the quality and professionalism it performs. I just love my new printer. It does everything I need it to do. It is very simple to operate. This all-in-one inkjet printer is designed for home and small office use. My dad got this printer for work and uses it daily. I have used it for school and other things that have really been helpful with my DnD and other projects. I have already printed 500-character sheets as well as various pictures for collages. This has been a great printer that me and my dad have loved using.

I'M RECOVERING FROM HIP REPLACEMENT SURGURY WHEN MY PRINTER ARRIVED. EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO SET UP THE PRINTER WAS IN THE BOX AND VERY EASY TO DO! I'M WORKING FROM HOME AND ADDED THE PRINTER TO BOTH MY HOME LAPTOP AND MY WORK LAPTOP. INSTALLATION WAS SIMPLE. THE QUALITY OF THE PRINT JOBS IS ABOVE AVERAGE.

Amazing!
This is by far the best printer I have ever owned! I love it! It was extremely easy to setup. The ink cartridges are easy to.install and they come with a year of free instant ink. I've printed out so many pictures already and they came out clearer than the ones I have printed at the store! It's fast and easy and I couldn't be happier!

I have a different branded printer before this one. Let me just say this one blows my older one that's about 1year and half old out of the water. Printers super fast scans super quickly and the wireless is beyond great doesn't disconnect like my older one that is not HP btw. Their estimate for ppm is wrong mine printed so fast.

Satisfactory and usable printer / scanner at a good price point when 1 yr instant ink is included.
I bought this to replace an older HP Printer. I have been a long-time home user and IT admin for HP printers. This printer is installed at home where I have Windows 11 Pro with current patches installed.
The price was good especially since it included a year of Instant Ink at 799 pages per month. The Office Jet Pro 8934E software was easy to install. My printer connects to the network by Wi-Fi. No ethernet connection during installation or operation. I like having 4 ink cartridges. HP Smart was installed for my previous printer. Initially it crashed often. Uninstalling and re-installing fixed the problem. I use HP Smart for scanning. Scanning is faster than with my older printer. This version of HP Smart has an Extract Text feature to produce a txt file. I have used it only once and it did a poor job extracting test from a complicated page.
Printing is not fast. 4X6 color photo at 300 dpi took 2+ minutes. Acceptable to me at this price point and my duty cycle. The document print quality is good.
The quality of the build is not as good as my previous printer. The printer has a lightweight feel. The paper tray is lightweight. The tray is adjustable for different length papers. There are only markings on the bottom of the paper tray to help align the paper. If I don't put the paper at the 11 X 8.5 mark, then paper jams inside the paper path. It would be better if there were a slider bar to butt against the paper to hold the paper depth.
In my experience with Windows and HP printers, Windows often showed HP printers as not ready after the printer went into power saving mode. Even though the printer itself showed ready. This seemed to be less of a problem with Windows 11 and now with this new printer it seems not to be a problem.
Overall, a satisfactory and usable printer / scanner at a good price point when 1 yr instant ink is included.

Works fine but desktop software does not
The printer works fine. However, the software that is used to manage the printer from your desktop does not work. HP wanted to charge me for trouble shooting the problem. I have an older printer, 8016, and the software for that printer works fine. I feel that if they sell you a product, they should support it all the way. Why wouldn't they want to know what happened so they can add it to their knowledge base? Not good customer service. That said, they were helpful in setting it up initially. The tech who worked with me was stumped by this problem and was forced to offer the paid solution with another department. In the photo attached, there are 4 items from my desktop screen: 1) 8030 scan program (shows up in tiny resolution -- cannot read) 2) 8030 program (always starts as though you are adding the printer for the first time 3) 8016 program for scan, print, everything (works fine) 4) HP Scan Doctor (no issues)

Good Printer, Hope It Lasts
This printer replaced an HP Office Jet 9000 series printer we'd had for three years. THAT printer replaced one we had for about the same length of time. We like HP printers but wish they had a longer shelf life. We purchased a 4-year maintenance contract with this one so hoping it lasts long enough for that to have been a wise acquisition!

Good printer....maybe a little finicky w/pictures
Like the printer. Seems easy to use, and the HP Smart Utility seems straight forward. Oddly though, if I larger color pictures, the printer color seems to get messed up. Doesn't straighten itself out until the heads are cleaned at least once or twice. THen is fine until a larger color picture is printed again. Then process repeats

The 910 setup cartridges do come with it. If you use the HP Smart app for the setup, you will also get the option to opt-in for HP+ which gives you an extra year of warranty, HP+ Support for two years, the HP Smart Advance app, and a free year of Instant Ink all at no extra cost. Will this printer print on 12 mil. photo paper? I can find weights, but nothing about thickness.
Thank you for your question! This HP OfficeJet 8035e Pro All-in-One is compatible with 60 to 75 lb (photo) paper. 75-pound photo paper is 11.8 mils thick. 12 mil thickness is close but you should be fine. Make sure to only load the paper tray about 50% to full for best results.

does the 8035e have a usb port?
