Good printer for the price
The printer was easy to unpack and set up. Our wifi would not allow us to connect so we connected with a cord. This was a bit disappointing because we wanted to print wirelessly from our tablets. We will attempt to connect wirelessly again. Connected with the cord, we were able to print, scan and copy successfully. The finished printed papers were colorful and clear. Printer and copying were easy to complete. Scanning was a bit more complicated. Scanning o e sided was simple but doing double sided was more involved. Would be easier to not have to flip the paper over. This printer overall does a nice job for the price.

Very frustrating!
Nice printer, but very difficult to set up. It tok at least 3 customer service reps and 2 days to get it working. Had to reinstall MS Word and other software. Should have been MUCH easier, especially with a new Hp computer.

Nice printer
This printer ended up being able to do everything I require from a printer. It prints in color , and it can scan. It hasn't given me a single problem and was so easy to setup. It's been really amazing and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a nice solid printer.

This AIO printer does it all
This all in one printer will handle pretty much everything that is needed in a home, home office and even a small business. It will fax out, scan and print. You can also fax out, scan and print from the HP Smart app. If your away, you can still send what you need printed to the printer and pick it up when needed. Have a secure document? The document will only print after entering a coded. There is a setting for that, but this printer is capable of securing your printouts. All this and it even comes with a few months of HP Instant Ink. Therefore, your purchase will include ink subscription for several months, giving you enough time to enjoy all this printer can do. If your in the market to buy an AIO printer, I highly recommend this one!

A Solid Performer with a Few Quirks
As someone who recently started using the OfficeJet Pro 8139e printer for my home office, I've been generally pleased with its performance. The setup process was relatively straightforward, though I did encounter a few hiccups with the Wi-Fi connection initially. Once I got it up and running, I found the print quality to be quite good for both text documents and color prints.
One of the standout features for me has been the automatic document feeder, which has saved me a lot of time when scanning multi-page documents. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that it doesn't support duplex scanning, which would have been a nice addition for a printer in this price range.
The printer's speed is decent, but not exceptional. I've noticed it takes a bit longer to initialize and start printing than I'd like, especially when I'm in a rush to get something done. That said, once it gets going, it handles most jobs efficiently.
I appreciate the variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB. Being able to print from my phone using the HP Smart app has been convenient, though the app itself can be a bit finicky at times.
The inclusion of a year's subscription to HP's Instant Ink service was a nice bonus, but I'm a bit wary of the long-term costs once that period ends. The cartridges seem to have a good yield, which helps keep ongoing costs reasonable.
Overall, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e has been a solid performer for my home office needs. It's not perfect—I wish it had duplex scanning and faster warm-up times—but it handles most tasks well and produces good-quality prints. If you're looking for a reliable all-in-one printer with decent features, it's worth considering.

Fast and Clear
This HP printer is easy to set up and it prints fast. I really appreciate the document feeder when I need multiple pages. It makes life a lot simpler. I also appreciate being able to fax. It’s not something I do every day but it definitely comes in handy. It has a decent size screen to navigate with and the printing is fast and clear. This is a great all-around printer.

Nice Printer, Gets the Job Done
The HP Office Jet Pro Printer 8135e is a nice printer for what I need it to be. I only print a few things weekly, like my pay stubs and my golf game sheet. I was able to link to the printer through my IPhone or my IPad qyickky and without any difficulties.
I am not to sure about the HP Instant Ink though. I think it may be worth it if you do a lot if printing. We seemed to go through the ink that came with the printer pretty fast and we normally print around 50 pages in a month. So for us it is not a very good deal, and there is always a "catch" with "free" offers. If you cancel the subscription you are unable to use any "free ink" that HP sent you for the printer.
All in all, the printer is a nice printer and gets the job done and I would recommend ths printer.

Excellent Printer
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e is so easy to set up I was surprised, I initially had a problem connecting to my internet but took the printer right next to my modem and it connected right away. I then put it in my home office and no problem working. I absolutely love it. It prints, scans and faxes all in one and so easily. I highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for an easy to use all in one printer.

Does the job and more
This is a wonderful printer. Prints wonderful colors. It prints quickly, of course not as quick as a laser printer, but that’s okay. Easy to connect to and navigate. It is straight forward and gets the job done. Does take up a little amount of space, though.

Nice Printer/Scanner/Copier
This is my first new printer in 10 years. Needless to say, this is a nice upgrade. After easily unpacking it, I plugged it in and downloaded the online software. I had some difficulty connecting, but that was an error with ethernet on my end. Once I troubleshooted that, I was able to successfully connect and print. My first print job was simple and the job was done quickly and the final product was neat and clear. When I attempted to scan, I was unable to do so without downloading scanner software. This was a simple download and upon completion, I scanned and saved a few documents. My only complaint is that I am unable to scan a double sided document without reinserting the document. Not a huge problem, just a bit inconvenient when working with double sided lengthy documents. Overall, this is an easy to use printer+ at a reasonable price. It also has a professional, high end look for an at home printer.

HP is the best
I tried out the 8135E model and works well. Took a bit of time to connect to my laptop. Easily prints from laptop and mobile device. No issues thus far. UPDATE- having issues printing from mobile device. HP support unable to determine issue . Still no change to printing from my phone but no issues printing from my laptop . Update#2 still cannot mobile print. But no other issues. Most likely a router issue
Router addressed and still unable to print from my phone. Since I don't own a laptop myself, I am unable for HP to remote in to see what the issue is. I only have a company laptop

Do not buy this printer!
I may have to send this back. It keeps saying it's out of paper when it's not. I add MORE paper, and it still won't print. Then I get a pop up message on my PC that says there is a problem with my printer. Duh! I have to constantly unplug and replug to reset it so it will print. Wish I had kept my old printer. This one is a pain. It may fly home to wherever it came from soon.

New 8139e Multi Purpose Printer
Not a go so far. The HP staff t otally failed/fouled up the set up to such a degree that I can't even remotely establish a functional printer. Repeated phone calls from HP support end up as "dead ends". No one at HP answers after I pick up from home!!!! That's Customer service? I will be calling in to notify them that their efforts to contact me are dismal at best. Emails? What emails? How can you leave a customer in limbo for days on end?

Simple and Easy All in One!
I was super excited to finally find a good all in one machine. I already owned a laser printer, but really wanted one that could scan and copy. The ability to scan documents is an absolute must in today's "paperless" society. Fantastic Product!

HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e does the job
I'll admit, when I received the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e I was worried it would be very bulky because it weighed a decent amount. I was worried that it would be an eyesore. I was also concerned about the space it would take up and how i would find a space that gave it room for the functions it offers, all while refraining from triggering my ocd when it comes to the feng shui, if you will, of my home, but I was pleasantly surprised at the minimal space it took up. I really like the way they've designed this model. The placement of the trays and whatnot seem to have been carefully thought out for maximum productivity and practicality. The printer was packaged with care and it came with your ink cartridges, some info on a subscription to the ink, and crystal clear instructions on how to both set up and operate.
The cartridges were incredibly easy to install. I didn't take advantage of the subscription, which was a free year of ink, because it would have been for the most expensive ink they can offer. Whil, yes, that sounds awesome, I know, to have a year of this quality, name brand ink, for free, I find that these services always complicate ending the subscription or they find a way to limit the quantity or usage.
After setting this printer up, which was a breeze, I tried a few basic features such as printing and scanning. I havent tried anything crazy yet, but I'd like to start making some really great resources for my residents at the property I work at, as well as useful tools, such as littlw cheatsheets, to help me remember things in the office. The illuminated panel on the front of this printer makes it more than simple to navigate through all the options & both processes were seamlessly executed. So far, I have printed both, in color and in black and white. The colors are vibrant and smooth. The various hues are captured and displayed very well. The blacks are very rich and defined.
The printer connected to the wi-fi with ease and it is super easy to explore every one of the features from your phone. The interface was not glitchy or confusing and it didn't take much time at all to install. I do like that it's not required of you to have the connection in order to use some of the functions. I do with the power cable was a little bit longer and had a bit more flexibility, but that's no issue at all in the broad spectrum of things. Another useless thing I would've liked is for the printer to have been a different color like black or even a fun color
