I absolutely love this printer ! It prints so easy and fast. My ink dried fast and the paper tray is great at the bottom instead of the top because its easier to reach. By it being a tray i find it doesnt get jammed. Its innovative that it faxes, scans and has two sided printing. It was very easy to use and set up. I was so excited to receive this.

Office Jet Pro
I have always had an HP printer as I really like the brand and the success I have had with the HP printers. However this printer exceeds my expectations of a great printer. It does everything I need it to do and that includes copying and faxing. I look forward to the ink subscription as it will make things a lot easier and I will never have to wait for ink to come. Copies I make are clean and clear. Set up was a little tricky but that is only because I have never had this type of multi functional printer before.

Fast connection and printing
I have been using the HP8135E for a few weeks now and I like the fast connection and printing. I love the phone to printer capabilities. Easy to use and setup was a breeze. Quality is pretty good as well. I will say the only thing it is missing is the double sided scanning option but other than it is a great product for me and my family. We do a lot of coloring and activities so this works perfect for us. I have not used the fax option but that is another compatibility you have to pay for. I like how you can see your scan in live action on your HP smart app while actively scanning. I scanned an 80 page document with no issues through the document feeder. I personally did not sign up for insta ink as you get charged regardless if you order or not, just a membership fee. It is a compact sleek design so no oblong or odd shapes . The HP smart app does have pre loaded printables like games coloring pages ect for free which we have been taking full advantage over. Overall a good product

Very happy with my upgrade
I’ve always liked HP printers and the printer I had been using needed to be replaced, so this printer came at the perfect time. The set-up was very simple and within a few minutes I was up and ready. I really like that this printer has a paper tray instead of the top-loading guide which always ends up getting broken off. The documents and photos that I’ve printed are good quality and I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for an easy to use all-in-one.

Great printer
This is certainly a very good printer. I was pleasantly surprised on ease of set up. Many times, I have had trouble getting printers to connect or print at all. This machine set up very quick. The print is very nice and quick. Once I hit the button to print, it gets the job done. There's always room for some improvement, but this is a printer that I hope will last us a long time because it does a wonderful job right now. Good on ink, great on quality. The kids love it for school work and I can do my work printing with ease.

Impressive Performance
I am so impressed with my HP OfficeJet Pro! I work from home and lead a philanthropy organization. I demand high performance from my printer. Upon receiving my printer, I first noticed the firm quality of the packing for shipping. It was easy to unpack and set up to print on multiple devices. I was ready to print on minutes! I tested this machine with photos and document printing. Printing was seamless! Photo quality was high def and using the app is so easy! The touch screen control panel made it easy to make document copies and change paper in the paper tray for small pictures on glassy paper. I am very impressed and satisfied!

Solid Printer for Heavy User
I’ve had multiple HP printers over the years, both personally and professionally. The 8135e lives up to the standard set by their predecessors -- printing in fast and high quality, and the scanner and copier are great features. The only quibble would be the slow setup process -- but the quality of the device makes up for the extra time needed to get it working. It’s a good all-around printer for those that need something more than a basic personal ink jet can do.

Nice upgrade from my 6005 Series
Coming from an HP Envy 6005 series, this HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is a huge upgrade. The all-in-one features were a must have for me, and the dual-sided printing plus ethernet port features are a nice touch. This prints fast and clearly. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because of the connectivity was a bit clunky during set up as well as the second time I went to print. I had to juggle between the HP Smart app (Windows 11 desktop app) and the default printer settings, in order to get this "reconnected." Other than that, I love this printer and am very happy with its performance. Would surely recommend.

Prints, beautiful nice color little hard to set up still figuring out all the things out , how it works, but so far everything looks great. I took pictures and up loaded them but for some reason on your end it wouldn’t accept it I’ve tried to do a utube and I don’t have the knowledge to do it I’m so sorry I’m still learning it and will up date as I get it figured out. So far so good what I have done it works very nice. Play around with my friend scanned and printed just to see how it worked. It worked beautifully printed birthday cards Christmas cards. It’s amazing how fast it is compared to my other printer I love it.

Perfect For Home-Light Business
I am an HP fan. This is my third HP for home/business. I really like that this model is light and more compact than other models. The set up was seamless. Connectivity to my phone and other devices went off without a hitch for wireless printing. The print is crisp. It prints at a nice pace and is pretty quiet for when my office partner is on a call. I look forward to using the instant ink subscription for its convenience. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I wish it held a whole ream of paper.

Perfect home office printer
I was in the market for a new printer and had the opportunity to get an HP Officejet Pro. I currently own a different inkjet printer, but the start up is slower than I'd like for daily use and I have never been able to connect to it wirelessly, which is a bit of an inconvenience. Thankfully, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e connected to my laptop with ease and I didn't have to troubleshoot or waste time rebooting the printer or laptop.
The first thing I noticed was how well the printer was packaged. There wasn't excess packaging and it even had a handle to help slide it out of the box. In a world of over packaged product, this was a pleasant surprise. The set up was easy and straight forward. There was a small paper manual as well as a QR code you could scan to get setup instructions on your phone. I chose the QR code and followed the steps. I had my printer set up and running within 25 minutes. (Possibly less. I was interrupted a few times by my toddler.) The warmup time for the printer is short and it didn't take long for it to print fairly large jobs (30+ pages). I also had it print envelopes, which again, was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently it printed. The envelopes never got caught up or jammed. I also appreciate how there is a subscription based printer ink program, which they offer 3 free months of. How convenient is that?! I also like that the menu screen pop out for easy viewing.
My only constructive criticism would be that I wish the tray held more paper and that the tray that slides out was a bit more heavy duty. It's very thin and I feel like it would be easy for it to break. The printing itself is clean, but I didn't notice much of a difference in print quality between standard printing and high quality printing. However, all and all it will be a great little machine for my printing and scanning needs and I recommend it for your home office.

If you're in the market for a new printer, this all in one is the way to go. It was super easy to set up. Taking it out the box was a cinch. The set up guide breaks down all the steps. I was able to get connected and ready to use within 10 minutes with no issues. Lightweight and fits on any size desk.

Good all-in-one printer
My husband got this printer for my remote work needs. Basically the scan and printing quality were pretty good and fast. However, I don't know where the bottleneck is. But it took a while for the printer started to print after I initiated the printing job from my Windows 11 computer.

Perfect for home office
I got the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e. Starting from the physical look and size I found that it’s so sleek and convenient for my small home office, I did not take a lot of space and fitted perfectly on my desk. The instructions, installation, and setup were clear and seamless. The quality of the printing was clear and great. However, there’s only one drawback and that is I found it a bit slow when printing. Otherwise I really found it so helpful for everyday home office printing.

Installation could have been easier.
So, it's a great printer, but installation was problematic. I have found that since technology has advanced and gotten smart, it's actually gotten dumber!
I already have another HP and another brand of printer in the same room I tried to set this one up in. Wouldn't connect to wifi. Moved it closer and to two other locations, but it still wouldn't connect.
Then, while troubleshooting and looking for online help, I found out I can do it manually. THAT was all it took. I followed the prompts on the touch screen and it set up fine. I was wondering how the “smart” set up was EVER going to work when it NEVER asked me for the Wifi password. The manual set up did, first thing, and then it was clear sailing after that.
Prior to set-up, I tried setting it up via my iPad. Said it wasn't compatible even though the HP website said iOS 11 or higher was needed (I have 15). Gave that up. Then tried to do it via my laptop, and got the errors I mentioned before. Once I had done the manual set up, I was even able to move it back to its first location and guess what? Wifi is fine there (as I knew it would be, but the printer didn't agree). Now I can print to my iPad with NO issues but still cannot print from my laptop.
Printer doesn't appear on my laptop's drop down menu, and when I select Smart Print, it sends the docs to my original HP printer with no instructions on how to select this new printer. I've given up. I will use this printer from my tablet and the other one from my laptop. I'm not gonna spend hours on the phone with HP trying to figure it out. Just wish these printers would work right out of the box as they did 10-20 years ago.
I like the touch screen. It's much easier to use than the one on my older model HP printer. Of course, inputting our Wifi password on a keyboard that was less than 1” big was a challenge. I'll be getting a lot of use out of this printer since it prints in color. I left my other HP printer in black and white mode only until I can afford to buy more color ink.
I'm happy with this one. Thank you very much HP!

A good all around printer
I have only had a chance to use this for a few days, but it's been great so far. I was worried about the wifi connectivity, and HP did a great job with it. Setup was very easy using the HP app on my phone to do it, and only took a few minutes. The print quality is excellent for documents and such, and photos are pretty good too (haven't tried using photo paper yet). The ability to print from my phone when I am away is a big plus for me as well as I often run across documents when I am not home that need to be printed. They are waiting for me when I get home. So far I haven't found any faults to this and it seems to be a great home office all in one!

Good all-round printer
I use HP officejet pro 8135e for my work from home office and home needs. Good all-round printer for normal use. Light weight and is not too big. Wireless printing, scanning, fax etc is great for seamless connections for multiple devices at the home. Was easy to setup and came with instructions. HP smart app is well designed app for using the printer. Its really good for small jobs of less than 10 pages, its reasonably quick for inkjet printers. Touch screen is very responsive.
It takes a few seconds to send and print over through wifi. It doesnt come with cable to directly connect with laptop/PC and really required as it prints over wifi. Takes around a minute to boot up which is common for inkjet. I have to use VPN for my official work and i cant see to be able to print when connected to wifi. I have to disconnect my vpn to print. I would recommend this printer for regular home needs.

All in one Printer
This printer was easy to set up. I like having a printer that also allows me to scan and make copies. It also has fax capability, which I don't currently use, but it's there if I ever do need it. The printing is crisp and clear. My old printer still works, but not perfectly so this came just in time. The HP 8135e is a great multi use printer.

This printer has been great. I do a lot of shipping of products and require a printer that can handle a decent capacity and this one has been great. It is quick and doesn’t take long to receive the document from the computer. I also love that it has Bluetooth capabilities so you can print right from your phone. It can also scan, copy, and fax.

I really love my HP8135E printer. It's larger than I expected but again it copies, prints scans and can even Fax. It's really fast printing without interfering with the print copy quality. Setup was so easy even for non tech savvy person such as myself. The wireless printing is an awesome feature also. I would recommend the HP8135E to anybody looking to purchase a printer

Everything You Could Need
This HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer has all the bells and whistles without taking up a large amount of room. Its actually surprisingly small for such high tech printer. This reminds me of my huge printer at work and will be great for business school and times I need to work from home. I love the scan options and the decent amount of paper this holds. Printing is quick and the quality is great. This was easy to set up I just hope the ink isn't too expensive. Otherwise this is a great printer!

Good printer, Excellent Scanner
After get through the setup process, actually using the OfficeJet Pro 8135e has been a positive experience, it prints quickly and at the high quality you’d expect. But where this printer really shines is with the scanning function – I’ve been able to scan both documents and pictures with great results and maintain the high resolution of the originals. My only complaint is that, when using the document feeder, it only scans 1 size vs. double sided. Still a great device, and good addition to the office.

Quick and Easy Setup.
I haven't had a printer for years, due to the fact that setting them up has always been time consuming. This printer was incredibly quick to set up, and in no time I was printing out labels for Packages. It's amazing! I highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants a quick set up, and fast printing.
My cats also were curious about it which is a bonus :D

Little clunky starting but great printing
I can say first that I don’t have patience when setting up a new printer because it always seems to take so long and have bugs to solve. But, I am happy with the print quality and speed of this printer. Some things I learned that could help a new setup…
Fill the tray with paper, it didn’t like just half full.
The paper tray will have a gap the little part on top slides out to meet the edge.
Read the instructions carefully to know what to remove or do on each step.
Long edge double sides means it prints the same direction as the back and short edge is the opposite direction as the back.
Also, my printer did not want to stay connected with WiFi once it kinda went to sleep- not sure why but it was annoying.
Prints well and quickly! Enjoy!
Update: eventually the printer detected it wasn’t connected and asked a couple questions and restarted, it’s been connected since then with no issues so looks like it fixed itself! Nice.

On the window that opens click Advanced and then printer defaults and turn off duplex. Do the same for printer preferences on the general tab.

When I scan a document to my computer, it only scans the actual text and not the space around the text, making a letter for example look really odd as it shrinks it down to just the writing with no border. How do I change this?
Hello Darren and thank you for your question! To scan an entire image on an HP OfficeJet, you can use the Full option or manually adjust the scan boundaries:
Place the original on the scanner glass or into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)
Touch Scan on the control panel
If prompted, select Auto to let the app select the edges of the item, or Full to keep the entire capture
If prompted, click Apply or Next
