Rated 1 out of 5 by JYBB from Not what I wanted I used the product and after a few days returned it. The paper tray would not properly take standard 8x11 paper. It kept telling me the paper was too long. What did print needed time to dry before the next page came out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lauraj60445 from Professional At Home Quality I love having the convenience of professional quality and I don't even have to leave home! This printer delivers exceptional quality with easy to use functions. I have had many printers previously however, having HP products make me feel at ease with producing high quality prints. I love to craft and print out many varieties of items for myself and I love the all in one features! I would never want to give up any of these features ever. I love the fact I can count on my printer for all my needs without having any issues. I love HP products and would never want anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mkmalani from All in 1 printer - love it Fast effective efficient can be use for a officer as well. But I brought it just for home. You don't need any internet cable connection to it, if you don't want" just set up your wifi connection Bluetooth all the way 100 percent reliable.. The ENVY had two. I liked that and I do subscribe to Insta Ink....I REALLY like that program! I'll edit this if I find that it gives me trouble down the road, but so far the printing is fast, the features are great. I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris3787 from Awesome Home + WFM PRinter This printer replaced a smaller HP Envy that we had for sometime. We were looking to get a bit of a larger machine volume machine that had fast speeds, a scanner tray, covered paper loading tray and connectivity. This printer met all those needs and more, and will fit perfectly on a bit of a smaller shelf set up in our office. Unboxing a setup was a bit taxing, but all printers are with the amount of protection they pack them with. I did have an issue setting up the printer on Wi-Fi. It was a very quick process but i found after a few days the print showed off line. I deleted it from my computer and installed from the windows HP then added to my PC devices again and have no issues since. Also printing from mobile with or without the HP Apple and iPhone is pretty straight forward. We immediately transferred our instant Ink account to this printer and got the cartridges the following week. We have yet to install because the cartridges that came with the printer are still working fine. We print 100-150 pages a month, working from home and other needs. Output is fast and good quality, as we tend to use a lot of color. So far we are finding this printer to be exactly what we needed and exceeding out expectations in some areas. Settings and connectivity have always been a fight with the printers we have owned, and aside from an early setup hiccup, it has been flawless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AbbyLew from A pretty good option for business use at home Unpacking was somewhat facilitated by the inclusion of a bag designed to help remove the printer from the box, though the bag itself proved difficult to open once removed. On setting up, the printer feels a bit flimsy which raised some concerns about its durability.Installation of ink cartridges was straightforward, a plus. However, the touch screen presented challenges; its small size made it easy to hit the wrong keys for someone with larger hands, especially when entering my WiFi password. It was nice to have the option of making the password visible to avoid errors . On the upside, the printer operates quickly, which is great. This model might be suitable for those who prioritize print speed and simplified installation of cartridges. The scanning comes through clear and the copier option does as well. I didn’t notice specs or “noise” on the paper as you do with some copiers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lisabower6 from HP officejet 8139e I received my printer last week. Initially everything was very easy to set up. I plugged everything in and turned on the printer. I followed the instructions for setup and connected to my WiFi easily. I ran the print test and everything looked good. I printed some documents and I was extremely pleased with the printers fast printing (compared to my old outdated printer). I had to go out of town for a few days and now that I'm back I'm having some trouble. I don't want to use the HP app that requires you to use a subscription and there ink for the lifetime of the printer. Once I figure this out, I will update my review. The print quality is excellent so far. I'm very pleased. I did print a couple of photographs from my cellphone that I took of the Northern lights. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the photos. Right now I am not sure if it's the printer or my photo paper. My photo paper is a few years old, so I'm unsure if this could be the problem. Again I will research and update you. Overall I am happy with the overall quality of printer. I just need to work out a few of the kinks.

Now I can have all my prints done in much less time than it was before. It was very easy to set it up and get ready to work. It prints in very good quality. It is a big helper in my home office. I also like that I can print from my phone being out of my house. It operates by phone from anywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wmhsung from Connected Workhorse Printer I got this printer for our home office for the wife and I. We are very happy with the internet connection this has maintained that our old printer would conitnue to lose. We did skip the option to sign in/up with the myhp app during set up which i think is a hidden huge plus this printer offers. Once we finished the standard set up the printer was ready to go we started the initial set up and it was a breeze. The print speed is quite decent with the clarity of images like photos i would give that a 8/10 not the clearest ive seen but good for a thermal dot style print. The color accuracy is where the print quality suffers the most in my eye but the consistency and clarity are on the upper scale of this type of printer. I was also very happy with the quality of copies from this machine as print outs looked absolutely impeccable with very little shifting of pixels of the copy. The key and main thing i just adore about this printer is that it works so well out of the box. I had no issue just plugging it in and getting network connected and printing from my phone, laptop, or anything. It is a feature rich printer for its size and it is definitely punching its weight up in quality prints(minus the color). A few annoying things are the app and unclear start up that seems to lock you into joining myhp (you are not required too keep going through the set up if you want to skip this). This printer also includes one year into their printer ink subscription which i did not explore. As the lock in to their printer ink system that seems to lease you the printer ink in your printer every month which was not for me. Besides these lock into ecosystem mechanisms built into this printer I think the overall performance is excellent with flawless connection, fast prints, clear copies, and clean finish. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone with a home office expecting to print some documents occasionally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Arjayel from Nice large screen, but. Nice large screen, but the icons are rather small for the size of the Screen. Also, the buttons are not intuitive. Would be nice for the icons to be larger and have pictures or text on them. Other than that, I would have given the printer 5 stars.

I haven't had a personal printer since 2007, when I was still in college. This printer prints, scan, copies, and fax, all from my phone or laptop if I choose. As long as the printer is connected to my home wifi, I can print from anywhere in my house! I no longer have to print photos at Walmart, send fax or scan important documents at work. It can all be done at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by audrey500 from Solid Printer! The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is a solid printer. Setup took about 20 minutes with the longest part being figuring out the app. The best feature from the HP Smart App is the capability to print remotely! This is the first printer I've owned with that capability. The quality of the prints were excellent. I would definitely recommend this printer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nicpic148 from Fast but Unreliable This printer has a user-friendly setup process. It produces high-quality prints at an impressive speed, while also operating quietly. However, it's worth noting that the printer is slightly larger in size, which may not be ideal if you're looking for a space-saving machine. While mobile printing is generally reliable, there have been occasional issues with documents not printing. Additionally, the ink cartridges are on the smaller side (i.e., high replacement costs). One of the major downsides of this printer is that it doesn't always print fax confirmations, even when the setting is enabled. The only workaround I have found for this issue is to turn the printer off and on again before sending the fax, which can be a frustrating and time-consuming process. As I heavily rely on the fax function for my small business needs, I would not repurchase due to this being an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mystifiedbyitall from Powerhouse! I am really glad I was able to test this printer. It’s a real powerhouse. It’s big but not too big for a home printer. Super easy setup and easy integration with the HP smart print app. Making wireless printing a breeze. The printer does use a lot of ink so if you are someone who will be doing a good amount of printing, I highly suggest subscribing to HP instant ink. It’s worth it if you’re a heavy printer. The cost of cartridges is outrageous. The printer quality is excellent, print speed is great overall as well. The printer also functions as a copier and scanner which comes in handy from time to time. Overall, I am very pleased with this printer and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a printer.

After about 10 hours of online support over a 3 week period due to connection problems, I returned this printer for a different model. It was supposed to be the "latest model" and in my opinion, it needs to go back to beta testing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by aanthonya1 from Quality issues Hasn't worked properly snice I bought it a month ago. Tells you the tray is out of paper when it's half full. Prints a copy than prints 4 or 5 blank sheets after it for no reason. Not impressed with the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aschoenrock from I love this printer! I absolutely love this printer and so grateful to have found it when I did! We have two small home businesses, one being a cardio workout, the other, carpet installation (also a cardio workout). We haven't had a home computer in quite some time now so when I saw this, I had to jump on it! This printer was so easy to set up. Literally just plug it in and go. Ok, so there was a little more to it than that, but easy peasy. My favorite is that there is "an app for that"! Yup! You can use the printer from your phone, anywhere! I tried to print something from my desk at work to my home, and it printed just fine! I would highly recommend this printer to anyone,..... and I have!

It is possible to turn off automatic double side printing, or turn it to single page print?

    Asked by: MaxFm
Thank you for your question! Typically you do this on your PC. Go to control panel, devices and printers, right-click the icon for the printer and from the drop-down menu select printer properties. On the window that opens click Advanced and then printer defaults and turn off duplex. Do the same for printer preferences on the general tab.
