Wow, Just, wow
we wonder why apple gets to demand such crazy prices on accessories like the pen until we realize that this thing is the "competition". Where do I start with this thing?
1. Compatibilty: First off, compatibility is a complete crap shoot, I only figured out that this thing was compatible with my latop (probook x360) after several hours looking, and this is the ONLY stylus that I can really use so I was hoping it would be good.
2. Battery: I guess this AAAA battery approach used to work for some people, but in a world where most creative pens charge via some kind of capacitive charging this feels like a blast from the past, and not in a good way. Let me make this clear, nobody wants to keep around extra AAAA batteries for when this thing does and it makes it almost garunteed that once I run out of battery I will probably just put this thing away and not use it again rather than buy another battery.
3. Next, we have the way that this pen "attaches" to the laptop. it's no wonder they dont advertise the LITERAL STRING that you are expected to wrap around your laptop to have this thing keep anywhere near your laptop. No place to put the pen, you just have them attached via again a literal string and watch it dangle when you're not using it. In a world where most pens magnetically attach to the laptop this feels like an insult
4. not to mention this is all done for a price that is comparable to an apple pencil, this isn't some 10$ crappy pen this is a 50$ product I needed to buy directly from HP
This purchase was garbage, save your money and don't fall for this money trap

Nice Pro Pen!
The HP pro pen G1 works great! It was easy to set up. One set up to my computer things worked great. It really helped me out filling out forms and selecting different applications to maneuver from. The size is perfect. My grip was comfortable. The pen glided smoothly. This has been a lifesaver for me! My pros are the comfort and functionality of the pen. There are no cons for me.

I just love this hp pen. You can take notes, draw and doddle. It's easy to navigate on screen with this pen. Easy to use. Love using this to draw pictures makes life easier when you have a pen for your computer or tablet.

Amazing!
My 15 yr old tried this out for his art work. He said it was fabulous. It glided seamlessly across the screen. It picked up even small ticks of the tip. He is overall very satisfied with the G1 Pro Pen.

Hi I have a HP Pen Pro. does it work with X360 Envy? How do I know that the pen is working? Is there a indicator light on the pen?

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, the HP Pro Pen G1 is not compatible with the HP Envy x360 15-ed1055wm laptop. The HP Pen 1MR94AA and the HP MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen will be compatible, however.
