NO HELP AVAILABLE!!!
You sent me a deficient cartridge, I have reached out MULTIPLE times asking to have it replaced and have had NO response to assist me. One CS rep said buy a new one and then I might be able to have the deficient one replaced. That is simply idiotic and not a solution!!!! This ink rates a zero.

Crushed Ink Cartridge
When I received my ink cartridge, it was in a paper envelope with no bubble pack. The bag, as well as the cartridge, was crushed. HP gave me a refund but it left me without the ink cartridge, which left me with nothing to finish my school project.

Corporate Extinction?
Have always been pleased with the HP products. Have always felt comfortable purchasing and using my HP products. My only caveat, has been the demise of the inks for my printer. It has been frustrating beyond words that my printer is now extinct! The ink for it now has to be special ordered. The printer itself is quite useful and good working order, and I am loathe to give it up!

HP Customer Service was Awesome!
My order was filled, then lost by the carrier. The carrier said that I would have to wait 30 days before I could make a claim. I waited 30 days hoping my cartridge would arrive.
No luck. I then called HP Customer Service and explained the events that had occurred.
They immediately researched my order and determined that it was definitely lost and I needed a replacement. They then put a next day order in the system to replace my missing order.
I received the order and I am a very happy customer. Thank you.

What is the difference between the hp 62 cartridge and the 62 xl?

The HP 62XL High Yield Tri-color Original Ink is a high-yield cartridge with a page yield of up to 415 pages whereas the HP 62 Standard cartridge has a page yield of up to 165 pages. Actual yield will vary depending on the amount of content on the page. Highly "dense" documents may yield fewer pages than the ISO standard, while less dense ones would yield more pages than the standard. Printing that uses primarily one color could cause lower yields for that color, and higher yields for colors not heavily used. The yield you experience will depend upon the content that you print.

Why do you advertise XL as to hundreds of pages, when I printed 12 photos 4x6 and cartridge depleted, ?
The HP 62XL High Yield Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge will print up to 415 printed pages. As photos use much more ink than a standard printed page, the ink cartridges will deplete much faster.

Thank you for your question! All cartridges purchased from the HP US Store are authentic. Products purchased from the HP US Store ship directly from HP. If the cartridge was not purchased here check the packaging, the cartridge itself, and use a QR code scanner or go to HP's website.
Packaging
Original HP cartridges come in premium quality packaging that is consistent. The packaging should not be damaged or opened.
Cartridge
The cartridge should be unused, with no damage, ink leakage, or toner dust.
QR code
Scan the QR code on the cartridge box with a QR code scanner app. You can also go to hp.com/go/ok, enter the serial number from the label, and click Verify.
Security label
The label should have holographic features. When you tilt the box, the toner buckets should change into shield icons, and the word "ORIGINAL" and the HP logo should appear and disappear.
Other features
Look for the HP logo on the cap, and make sure the tamper-proof seal is intact.

Can this 62 XL be used in a HP OfficeJet 5470 like the 62 cartridges?
The HP OfficeJet 5470 does not appear in the HP North American Product Database. Perhaps you meant HP OfficeJet 5740? If so the 5740 is compatible with the HP 62XL.
