I'M a huge fan of all HP products including smartfriend, hp ink and i've only ever owned hp computers, laptops printers and have always been so happy with there products as well as customer service. well it's changed since this last order of my hp laptop which is absolutely horrible and i can't get anyone to help me from hp. this computer i was told was made in 2014 and they no longer carry any parts or service issues due to it being so old. when i ordered this laptop they said it was brand new which they lied to me. my outcome regarding this issue is not good at all i think hp got in over there heads and now they are so successful that they dont care about previous all time #1 customer happy with hp my results are now different. you can contact me about this issue i do not want this laptop any longer it runs horrible always shutting down, always having to wait to swwitch screens it couldnt be worse for it being a supposedly brand new laptop. i will be calling hp again about this horrible issue with my brand new hp 17 inch laptop. thankyou

Very Nice laptop
I bought this during the Black Friday sale so the price was great. It came with Windows 11 Home. Thankfully not in S mode so it was easy to load everything I needed. It's very light for a 17" laptop.
It's very fast for everyday activities. I don't play games so I don't know how it would be. overall I'm very pleased.

Great laptop.
I love my new HP 17t-cn300 laptop. It is (almost) everything that I wanted. The only things that I would have liked are one or two more USB ports and a drive for reading the SD cards from my camera.

I received my order very quickly. I am not tech savvy, so my son got it all set up for me and transferred what I needed from my old computer. So far, I am very happy with my new computer. Much faster than my old one, and an easy transition.

I like the very fast startup of the laptop. I also like that it weighs less than the older models. I do not like the way HP has integrated the smaller power button with the top roll of small keys instead of leaving it above the keyboard by itself. As a personal preference I do not like the power cord having been changed to the right side of the laptop instead of the left side, since the power cord now lays on my legs based on where my power outlet is located. I was not able to see the power cord change based on HP's illustration. HP may want to look at a simpler way to turn on and off the touch pad instead of having to look for it in the system setting. Some other companies have it where you tap the upper left corner of the touch pad twice to turn it off or on and it displays a light when it is off. Overall, I am very pleased with the laptop.

My old computer was a smaller HP laptop with a tough screen. This computer doesn't have a touch screen, and I thought that I wouldn't miss it and didn't use it much. However, from the fingerprints on the screen of my new computer I am realizing how much I did use that feature. I really miss it. This new computer is a very nice computer for the money, and I am enjoying it a lot. It has a good picture quality and nice sound too.

I'm happy thus far
Four stars because it works as represented, but I'm a Senior Citizen and please tell me why HP couldn't at least use a bright red color on the Power On/Off button? I replaced a 2016 Dell laptop, which has a nice, standalone power button in a handy position. I literally wasted time watching Youtube unboxing-type videos just to find the button. I field-tested it with another Senior, and she couldn't readily find the button, either. Sheesh!

Good product, excellent value.
Love the big touch screen. Touchpad works fine. To note, though, the right click only responds if you click at the very right bottom of the touchpad. It took a while to discover that --at first I thought something was wrong. It might help if HP would perhaps put a removable decal on the touchpad indicating where the target click spots are. Otherwise, the laptop is great!

Laptop was defective battery and WiFi and warranty was expired for new laptop, hp customer service didn’t refund after 10 days of return, do not know if I’ll get back my money or not, customers services didn’t solve the problem

New upgraded Laptop
HP Products have been very reliable and have not any issues with either my previous laptop and printers I have owned. Only issue I had with new laptop ordered to upgrade my old 10 yr old laptop was that it was shipped from China and it appeared to take about 30 days or more to receive, because it was lost in Memphis Tennesse for over 10+ days. Not sure if I got my original order or the re-order? But now I cannot get the Keyboard Back light on, there is nothing that shows back light for the keyboard. My Key F4 is blank and nothing I tried will work.

Love my new HP Laptop 17t-cn400 17!
I love my new HP Laptop 17t-cn400 17.3. I had two older HP laptops, each with 8GB Ram, that were just too slow for my needs. This new laptop has 16GB RAM, and more of everything else, it runs so quickly. Starts up immediately when I turn it on, I don't think I have ever had a computer this fast, loving every minute I spend on it. It was so easy to quickly set up, I loaded all the programs I need, set up email, etc. For now, I don't need a second laptop.
When I was searching for a new laptop I was ready to buy an HP laptop on sale at Amazon. I always buy HP laptops (usually at Best Buy), have never had any problems with them over the years. Checking out the HP website I started a Chat with Margie (immediately got a live person, not a robot) who was amazing. I told her what I needed to do on my computer, number of windows I need to have open at a time, how my older HPs were slowing down, and a 17.3" screen was a must. She got right to work, came back with a few questions, didn't take long to send me a configuration at a price that was outstanding.
An additional plus was the optional HP 3-year warranty at only $89.99 that would be fully refunded if not used during the 3 years. ( If I had bought the computer at Best Buy or through Amazon, the 3-year warranties offered would have cost over $200 with no refund if not used.) I have never had to take an HP in for repair, most problems are usually software or need a new battery, and Google searches have always provided the help I need.
So, very happy with my purchase. Thank you HP, and Thank you Margie!

Good product just as expected
I am happy with my purchase. All of my pc purchases have been HP and I have been happy with every one. I wish the battery would last longer between charging sessions though. It only last for 60 to 80 minutes between charges - not very good for a brand new battery.

This one isn’t customizable. I checked on the similar model that is customizable ending in 00 & it’s $899! No $200 discount! For me the backlit keyboard isn’t worth $200!!!!!

Is HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3" good for light gaming on Roblox? I'm thinking of buying my son a laptop for Christmas and this laptop sounds like a nice and large budget laptop.
For any software, you will want to check the publisher's website for the system requirements to make sure it meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use with that software. Updates can change those requirements which can prevent you from using your preferred settings or stop it from working with your device. With online software, your internet connection will also impact how well it will run. Roblox will currently run on this device.
