Before they send you to a tech, you have to agree to a year’s subscription for service insurance or a one time payment. After you’re connected to a tech good luck. I purchased my computer in March 2025 and have used it for 3 weeks.

It would be good at full price, but for that price I would expect a touchscreen, perhaps a slightly brighter screen, and a backlit keyboard. Other than that, I'm very happy with this computer. It has a nice screen, the keyboard has a light touch, and the computer is fast.

Is it good with gaming

Thanks for your question. This model is designed to browse the web, create documents, and stream videos. It will not be a good option for gaming. You will want to look at the HP OMEN or HP Victus gaming laptops for a laptop that is designed for games.

I have a 2017 17in hp that crashed, and have removed the hard drive from it. Can I transfer my old information from it to this laptop without to much hassle?

Thanks for your question! Data transfers are not that difficult with the right equipment. A hard drive encasement is recommended to do this process. You can plug the encasement into your new PC via an included USB cable while plugging your hard drive into the encasement itself. HP does not have Encasements available but they can be found at many of our retail partners.

Is this computer good for low end game gaming?

For any software, you will want to check the publisher's website and make sure that the device you want to run it on meets the system requirements for the settings you would like to use the software on. Updates can change the system requirements which can change what settings you can run it on or if you can run it at all. This would have extremely limited gaming capabilities and would be mostly browser related games.
