This should actually get a 4.5. The price was amazing! It does everything I need it to do so far.
My only ppprrrrobblem is that wwhhen I type like I usually do, I get all those rrepeat letters like now.
I'm having to train myself to type quickly with my arms in the air. 6 months frrrom now I may appreciate this training.

Size matters
Overall we like it and it meets the needs of our family. We mainly use it to take care of stuff online, browse the internet and shop. The only gripe would be the laptop is a bit big and awkward in regards to its size. The size makes the keyboard not as comfortable as other HP laptops including the one I am on now a Elitebook, 15'. If we had to do it over again we would get a smaller screen & laptop.

What A Difference A Decade Makes!
I previously owned an HP Pavilion laptop that I purchased in 2014. One of the main reasons for getting a new laptop was that the processor in the old laptop could not support Windows 11. Having this new HP laptop is very much like driving a Mercedes Benz after having driven an old “beater” for a decade! EVERYTHING is so much faster - booting up, shutting down, WiFi, apps, etc., etc.! I wasn’t anticipating such dramatically improved response times across the board. Add to this the ease and speed of transferring all my files from the old laptop to the new via Nearby Sharing. Genius. Needless to say, I am thrilled with my purchase.

Doesn't work right.
The volume shut off and I can't get it back on. Then there's the thing where it won't let me move the cursor. Also, it tends to wander and goes to a completely different page for no reason.

The laptop is better than expected. The screen is bigger than the Dell I had which was well over 10 years old. I hope it works for my needs because I am planning to return to school for my MSW. HP has always been my go to for computers and I been back and forth searching for a laptop for over a year. Hoping I made a good decision

Frustrated Customer
Every time the computer trys to restart after a windows update, it crashes. Nothing but the black screen with HP logo. Nothing works to restore except reinstalling windows and losing all the programs that were added. Next time it happens, I am sending it back to China.

I've had this computer for about a month now, and am pleasantly surprised. Surprised because everything works as advertised, and it;s a good price. I still don;t understand why 2 computers could have the same RAM, ROM, speed, screen size and so forth, but one costs $900, and the other $350. Whatever, this is a good computer.

Overall Good Laptop
I bought this to replace my old laptop, a 17” of a different brand. The processor is fast, and handles most of what I’ve tried so far without any issues. The fan can get a little noisy, but it isn’t bad.
The screen is my biggest complaint, which is the main reason for 4-stars. It’s difficult to see on. I have some vision issues, and I find my nearly ten year old laptop to have a better screen. Even fiddling with the resolution, colors etc., the picture almost feels flat and/or blown out. I wish it didn’t, because it can make it hard to do long term tasks for me.
Oh, I sort of wish there were more ports, but that’s an easy enough solution.
Keyboard isn’t terrible but I do wish the directional keys weren’t so short.
Overall, I’d recommend it, particularly if you’ve good to decent vision.
I’m not sure if I’d buy another HP in the future, but this one serves its purpose.

I like the laptop just disappointed I could not sign in with my email and password.
I tried to change my password and you won't let me.
So now I have to ask you for a code, go to my email on my phone to receive code, then come back to my laptop to sign in. It's very frustrating.

Is this computer a proper choice for using QuickBooks?
Thank you for your interest in the HP Laptop 17-cp3047nr. For any software, you would want to check the system requirements from the publisher's website and make sure the device you want to run it on meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use. Updates can change the requirements which can impact what settings you run it on or if you can run it at all. For software that always require online or for sections that are online, your connection type and speed can also affect how well it runs. Quickbook also has system requirements based on number of users.

Greetings, I wanted to know if the RAM memory can be expanded. How fast should the modules be (3200mhz like the original)? What is the maximum that this laptop supports in each RAM memory expansion slot? Thanks a lot!
Just understand the laptop itself is not user serviceable. This means you either have to pay a local HP center to do your upgrade, or buy pry tools and void that warranty. I did the latter to this exact model and can validate 32GB 3200 speed DDR4 works perfectly fine.
